Founded in 2012, Virginia Pallets initially operated out of a 3,000-square-foot mechanic shop, employing just two individuals and relying on a single 12-foot flatbed truck for deliveries and pickups.

In 2013, the company expanded its operations by relocating to a leased 60,000-square-foot facility situated on a 55-acre site, which remains its headquarters today. As the business grew and the demand for automation and facility upgrades intensified, Virginia Pallets purchased the property in 2018 to facilitate the installation of new equipment and facility enhancements.

Today, Virginia Pallets utilizes multiple pieces of machinery from Pallet Repair Systems (PRS), including a Repair/Sort line, three denailers, three trimmers, one notcher, one plater, and one unstubber. Additionally, the company employs a Rayco nailing machine along with supporting machinery. All waste materials are processed through a Cresswood grinder installed by Boulware and sold to a local mulch producer.

In 2021, Virginia Pallets adopted Pallet Track and Mill Manager software from Innovative Data Solutions to streamline plant operations, deliveries, and pickups. In 2022, the company further enhanced its efficiency by implementing E Signature technology, enabling a fully paperless system.

With a fleet of five Freightliners and 185 trailers, Virginia Pallets is well-positioned to respond promptly to customer needs. The company maintains a fleet of trailers staged at customer locations, allowing for rapid deliveries and pickups. Additionally, Virginia Pallets preloads pallets for all its clients, ensuring round-the-clock, 365-day-a-year delivery service, even in emergency situations.
